Buyer verification

Business email and spend evidence can be reviewed before a Duel opens. Verification documents are private, unavailable to vendors, and scheduled for deletion after the verification window.

Vendor approval

Vendor accounts do not enter the qualified marketplace automatically. Vendor identity, business presence, replacement coverage, and conduct can be reviewed, approved, suspended, or rejected.

Sealed offers

Vendors cannot see competing offers. Submitted commercial terms are locked and versioned. Duplicate offers for one vendor and Duel are blocked at the database layer.

Identity and payment

Buyer contact details remain hidden until that buyer selects an offer and Stripe confirms the fixed introduction payment through a signed webhook. A browser redirect is never treated as proof of payment.

Fraud and circumvention

Do not place emails, phone numbers, URLs, domains, or social handles in public fields to bypass the introduction. Do not falsify spend, impersonate a company, coordinate offers, scrape opportunities, or pressure users outside the platform. Suspicious accounts and records may be held, rejected, or suspended while reviewed.

Report a concern

Authenticated users can report a Duel or vendor. Reports enter an administrator queue and the outcome is recorded.

Responsible disclosure

If you believe you found a security issue, do not access data beyond what is necessary to demonstrate it and do not publish personal data. Send a concise report to the privacy/security contact in the imprint.
